Girls Program

Girls Program
Providing girls with positive role models and mentors, educational facilities and resources that will allow them to become successful female leaders in their communities.

Free Lunch Program

Free Lunch Program
Provides 350 vulnerable Ugandan children/youth with free nutritious meals and access to clean drinking water on a budget of $500 USD per month.

International Volunteer Program

International Volunteer Program
AGYA offers volunteers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to local communities in Uganda through teaching, care-giving, facilitating workshops, conducting outreach and advocacy efforts, and sharing professional skills. AGYA organizes both group and individual volunteer trips.

After-School Program

After-School Program
Provides Ugandan children/youth with a nurturing learning environment featuring free daily classes/workshops such as art, language training, jewelry-making, poetry and creative writing, dance and music, photography, film and media. Two key project initiatives that fall under the After-School Program are the OLPC Project and Recording Our Dreams, listed below.

Recording Our Dreams Studio: CGI U Commitment to Action
AGYA owns and operates a solar-powered recording studio that economically and artistically empowers Ugandan youth using the power of music and the popularity of hip-hop among urban African youth.

One Laptop Per Child Project

One Laptop Per Child Project
AGYA is increasing access to technology for Ugandan children by offering free workshops at our Community Center using OLPC's custom XO laptops as a fun, innovative teaching aid.
